Everything we do

What we do

One route, five services and a customs process. Everything here is the UK to the Netherlands — we do not pretend to run fourteen destinations from a brochure.

01

Household removals

Whole homes, Britain to the Netherlands.

Surveyed at your British address, packed and inventoried, declared to Dutch customs, and delivered room by room at the far end by the crew that loaded it. The inventory does double duty as the customs packing list, which is why it is built properly rather than scribbled.

02

Full loads

The vehicle is yours alone.

Named dates at both ends, two handlings — loaded once, unloaded once — and one crew travelling with the load. The right answer for a whole household and for anything you would mind being handled more than twice.

03

Part loads

Share a vehicle going the same way.

You pay for the space your goods occupy rather than the whole lorry. The trade is real and we state it plainly: a delivery window rather than a named day, and more handlings along the route. For a flat's worth of furniture and a flexible date it is usually the sensible choice.

04

Packing

Full, part, or fragile-only.

On a customs movement the packing and the paperwork are the same job, because the inventory has to describe what is actually in each carton. Owner-packed boxes are fine and need a real content list; cover conditions differ for them and we explain how in writing.

05

Storage

Containerised, in the UK, before departure.

The British sale completes and the Dutch place is not ready — the commonest unplanned part of a move abroad. Goods are wrapped, inventoried, sealed into timber containers and racked indoors until the far end is ready.

Customs & Transfer of Residence

The part that decides the timetable.

Since Brexit this is a formal customs movement. Household goods usually qualify for Transfer-of-Residence relief, which is a process with conditions rather than an automatic exemption. We prepare the file from the survey inventory and tell you at the start which documents only you can obtain.

How a quote is built

Four things move the number: how much is going, the access at both ends, how much packing you want done, and how far it travels. Not the season, not how urgent it sounds, not what somebody else quoted.

That also makes quotes comparable. If you are weighing us against another firm, check both have measured the same volume and assume the same packing depth — most of the difference between two prices lives there.

Unsure which you need? Describe it on the quote form. Questions covers what comes up next, and coverage shows where we work.

Next step

Tell us about the move

Both addresses, rough dates and a sense of the volume. We survey, prepare the customs file and quote in writing.
